I have two primary lines of research:
- Self-Regulation:
- How do we regulate our behavior in situations that influence our perceptions of progress towards a goal?
- What influence does receiving positive versus negative feedback have for inferring commitment or inferring progress
- Judgment and Decision Making:
- How do people cognitively process streaks
- What kind of information is necessary for an individual to predict streaky performance
